CMYK印刷

CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key / Black) printing or also called as four color printing is a standard color model used in offset printing for full color documents. CMYK model works partially on masking the color on the lighter or white background. The ink will reduces the light that would be reflected. CMYK printing uses the black color ink in addition to subtractive primaries because mixing the commercial practical cyan, magenta, and yellow ink is unsatisfactory.

In offset printing lithography, the density of the ink is produced using halftoning or so called with screening. In halftoning, translucent CMYK ink dots of variable size are printed in overlapping grids. Grids are placed at different angles for each of the ink colors. With Halftoning, a full range of colors can be produced.
